Heidi Schwab grew up in a small town in Connecticut and started playing the piano when she was 5 years old. She soon blew away her teachers with her talent at such a young age. However, the piano was not the only place where her talents were discovered. When she started singing she quickly started to win solos and awards with her clear and powerful voice.
Heidi decided to pursue her music career first as a musical theatre/opera student in New York City. Though she excelled in these areas she found that her true passion was in the area of songwriting. Producer Myles Mangino (credits include U2, the Pixies, etc.) helped her record her first original album, which made her decide to follow the singer/songwriter path.
She moved from New York to Boston to attend the prestigious Berklee College of Music. Here she won spots in numerous vocal showcases as well as the very competitive Songwriter's Competition. At the end of her education there, her professors urged her to pursue her career.
Heidi has moved to Nashville, TN and is now busy performing and promoting her newest album Words Can't Explain. She has played all over the country including venues such as the Bluebird Café in Nashville, TN, Copperfield's and the Berklee Performance Center in Boston, MA, Summer Festivals in Ohio, colleges, clubs and many more. At all of these shows Heidi never fails to awe her audience with her unique sound blending beautiful ballads with pop, funk, and rock. She has an original sound not to be missed.

~Giancarlo (Roma, Italy)
I'm not a music critic, but I like it. I like it very, very much. It gives me joy. I like the tunes, the melody that caresses you as the calm waves of the sea or the gentle breeze, that goes directly inside you. The lyrics, speak of the ordinary life, the forces of simple and deep feelings (fear and confusion, love and desire) of normal people, like you and me.
